What exactly is this program?

This is a live project-based internship, not a traditional course. You'll work on two complete interior design projects (residential and commercial) from start to finish, just like in a professional design studio. Every day includes live sessions with real-time feedback, peer reviews, and active practice.

How is this different from online courses?

This is NOT a pre-recorded course. This is a live internship simulation where:

• You attend mandatory live sessions daily

• You work on real projects with actual deadlines

• You get personalized feedback on YOUR specific work

• You collaborate and learn from peers in real-time

• You experience the pressure and workflow of a real design studio

What's the daily schedule like?

• 2 hours live sessions (mandatory) - Teaching, reviews, critiques, Q&A

• 4-6 hours independent work (flexible) - Project work, research, deliverables

Independent work hours are flexible - work evenings, early mornings, or split throughout the day.

Attendance & Sessions

Are live sessions mandatory?

Yes, absolutely. Live attendance is mandatory because:

• This is a live project, not a study curriculum

• You receive real-time feedback on your work

• Peer learning and group critiques are crucial

• Project reviews require active participation

• You're working with tight deadlines like in a real studio

What if I miss a live session?

Missing sessions significantly impacts your learning and project progress. Inform in advance for unavoidable emergencies. Frequent absences affect:

• Your ability to keep up with project deadlines

• Quality of feedback you receive

• Your final evaluation

• Certificate eligibility

More than 5 absences may result in program withdrawal.

Are sessions recorded?

No. Sessions are not recorded because this is a live, interactive internship experience. The value comes from real-time participation, immediate feedback, and collaborative learning.

What happens if I can't attend for 2-3 days?

Emergency situations are understood, but:

• You must inform in advance

• You'll catch up on deliverables independently

• Your project timeline will be affected

• Missing critical review sessions means delayed feedback

Prerequisites & Skills

Do I need to know AutoCAD and SketchUp?

Yes, basic knowledge is required. You should be able to:

• AutoCAD: Draw and edit floor plans, use layers, add dimensions

• SketchUp: Create simple 3D models, import furniture, set up camera views

This is not a software tutorial program - we focus on applying these tools to real projects.

What if I'm a complete beginner?

This program is designed for intermediate level students with basic software skills. Complete beginners should first complete basic AutoCAD and SketchUp tutorials before joining.

I know only AutoCAD, not SketchUp. Can I join?

You need both skills. SketchUp is essential for 3D visualization. Learn basics from free YouTube tutorials (2-3 weeks) before the program starts.

Time Commitment

Can I do this program while working full-time?

It's challenging. The program requires 6-8 hours daily (2 hours live + 4-6 hours work). Most successful students either:

• Do this full-time

• Have flexible work arrangements

• Work part-time only

Can I do this program while studying?

Yes, if you can dedicate 6-8 hours daily. Many students do this during semester breaks or while taking lighter course loads.

Is the independent work timing flexible?

Yes! The 4-6 hours of project work can be done at your convenience - early morning, late evening, or weekends. However, the 2-hour live sessions are at fixed times and mandatory.

Projects & Learning

Will I work on real client projects?

You'll work on realistic project simulations with detailed client briefs, requirements, and constraints - exactly like real client projects designed to mirror actual industry scenarios.

Do I design my own concepts or follow templates?

You design everything yourself. You receive client briefs and guidelines, but all creative solutions, layouts, material selections, and design decisions are yours. Each student creates unique solutions.

How much creative freedom do I have?

Complete freedom within client brief parameters. You'll justify your design decisions during reviews, just like presenting to a real client.

Will I get help if I'm stuck?

Yes! That's what live sessions are for:

• Daily feedback during reviews

• Guidance during Q&A sessions

What if my design isn't good enough?

You'll receive constructive feedback to improve. The goal is learning and growth. If work doesn't meet standards, you'll get specific guidance on what to improve and how.

Deliverables & Portfolio

What exactly will I create?

For each project (residential + commercial):

• Client brief analysis

• Site analysis documents

• Concept mood boards

• Complete CAD drawing sets (plans, elevations, sections)

• 8-10 3D rendered views

• Material boards with specifications

• Vendor database with quotations

• Project timeline and execution plan

• Complete BOQ (Bill of Quantities)

• Execution drawings

• Professional client presentation deck

Plus a final 12-15 page professional portfolio.

Can I use these projects for my portfolio?

Absolutely! You'll own all your work and can showcase it in your professional portfolio, job applications, and freelance pitches.

Will these projects look professional enough?

Yes, if you put in the work. With daily feedback and guidance, your projects will meet industry standards. Past students have used these projects to land jobs and internships.

Evaluation & Certification

How am I evaluated?

• Technical Execution (40%) - Drawing accuracy, 3D quality, BOQ accuracy

Do I get a certificate?

Yes, all students who complete the program receive a completion certificate. Top performers (scoring 80%+) also receive recommendation letters.

Can I join mid-program?

No. The program is sequential - each week builds on previous work. You must start from Week 1.
